Teacher Agreement
Last updated: August 10, 2026
1. Teaching on DrewStac Academy
DrewStac Academy ("Academy") is operated by DrewStac LLC ("we," "us") as part of DrewStac Live. Approved teachers ("you") can create and sell recorded courses to students through the Academy. This agreement governs your activity as a teacher and supplements our Terms of Service, which continue to apply to your account generally.
2. Applying and approval
Teaching requires an application and our approval, which we may grant or decline at our sole discretion. If your application is denied, you may apply again. We may revoke teacher status as described in section 9. Approval to teach does not create an employment, agency, or partnership relationship — you teach as an independent creator.
3. Course review
Every course is reviewed by us before it becomes available to students, and we may approve it, or send it back with feedback for changes. After approval, minor updates (such as descriptions and attached materials) may be made freely; adding new lessons or replacing lesson videos flags the course for our review, and we may re-review any course at any time. We may decline or remove any course or lesson that violates section 8 or that we reasonably consider unsuitable for the Academy.
4. Revenue split and payouts
Course sales are processed by Stripe. For each sale, you receive 80% of the purchase price and we retain a 20% platform fee, unless a different rate has been agreed with you in writing. Your share is paid to your connected Stripe account. To sell courses you must complete Stripe onboarding and keep your Stripe account in good standing with charges and payouts enabled; if Stripe restricts your account, your courses are automatically unavailable for purchase until it is restored.
We may hold payouts for a reasonable period (up to 14 days from sale) to cover refunds and disputes. You are responsible for your own taxes on amounts you earn; Stripe may issue you tax documents where required.
5. Refunds and chargebacks
Student refunds are handled by us in line with the posted student terms. When a purchase is refunded or charged back, your share of that sale is reversed from your connected Stripe account. If your account balance cannot cover a reversal, you authorize us to deduct it from future earnings.
6. Your content and license
You keep ownership of the courses, videos, and materials you create. You grant DrewStac LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, encode, distribute, display, and promote your content on and for the Academy, including in marketing for the platform, for as long as your content is listed. You represent that you own or have licenses for everything you upload, including any music, images, and third-party material, and that your content does not infringe anyone's rights.
7. Students stay platform customers
Students who buy your courses are customers of DrewStac Academy. You may not use the Academy to divert students to purchase the same content off-platform, and you may not collect student payment details directly. Student personal data you encounter through the Academy may only be used to deliver your courses.
8. Content standards
Courses must be your own educational content. Without limiting our discretion, the Academy does not allow: content that is unlawful, infringing, hateful, or sexually explicit; get-rich-quick schemes or income guarantees; financial, legal, medical, or tax advice presented as professional advice without required licenses and disclaimers; or misleading claims about credentials or results. Courses teaching business, investing, or similar topics must be educational in nature and appropriately disclaimed.
9. Suspension and removal
We may unpublish a course, remove specific lessons or materials, or suspend or revoke your teaching privileges for violations of this agreement, the Terms of Service, or conduct we reasonably consider harmful to students or the platform. Where practical we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix issues. Students who already purchased an affected course generally keep access to it unless the content itself must be removed. Suspension does not affect amounts you have properly earned, less any reversals under section 5.
10. Leaving the Academy
You may stop selling at any time by unpublishing your courses or asking us to remove them. Students who purchased before removal generally keep access to the version they bought, and the license in section 6 continues for that purpose. We may discontinue the Academy or teacher program with reasonable notice.
11. General
We may update this agreement from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the current version, and material changes will be communicated to active teachers. Continuing to sell after changes take effect means you accept them. If this agreement conflicts with the general Terms of Service on a teaching matter, this agreement controls.
